Music has been at the centre of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years, my work as a violinist has taken me through orchestral playing, chamber music, recordings, teaching and a wide range of collaborative projects. I perform with the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and am also a member of NYX TRIO, where I explore both classical and contemporary repertoire.

Chamber music is especially close to me because of the sense of dialogue and shared creativity it allows. Through NYX TRIO, I have been involved not only in performance, but also in developing programmes, recordings, masterclasses and new artistic ideas. Much of my work has a strong connection to Latvian music and contemporary composers.

My recordings include Glow, Flame, Burn, featuring music by Lūcija Garūta, NYX.DEDICATIONS, devoted to contemporary Latvian composers, and Dreamscape, created together with pianist Dzintra Erliha and cellist Ivars Bezprozvanovs.

This portfolio brings together some of the performances, recordings and collaborations that have shaped me as a musician. It is a reflection of the music I care about, the people I have been fortunate to work with, and the projects that continue to inspire me.
